Upon arriving on Ladylake, Sorey learned of the existence of warriors known as Shepherds, who were once charged with beating back the darkness and returning the world to the light. It was during this time where Sorey learned more of the outside world, how it teeters near the verge of chaos thanks to a dark force known as malevolence.
Concerned for Alisha’s safety, and having witnessed one of their own seraphim be slain by a malevolent creature known as a hellion, Sorey and Mikleo decided to strike out of Elysia to see to it that Alisha be escorted to her home of Ladylake safely. However, his life would soon take a turn for the interesting when a knight named Alisha Diphda wanders near his home, a sign of direr things to come. For a good portion of their lives, Sorey and Mikleo have lived in tranquility in Elysia, and were fascinated with ruins thanks to possessing a copy of a historical book, the Celestial Record. Sorey’s mother had been killed seventeen years prior to the beginning of his tale, and he and Mikleo were entrusted to the powerful seraph Zenrus to protect them. In the distant land of Elysia, a young boy named Sorey was raised by a people known as the seraphim, alongside his childhood friend, the water seraph Mikleo.
